Baby E came to us during our free model sessions, and we are so excited to share a sneak peek from the photo shoot. Isn’t she an absolute sweetheart? This beautiful bundle slept the entire time and let us work with her for some really, really cute shots. We love it when our models are so easygoing! Angela, thank you for letting us work with your sweet little angel.
We admit it. We’re a little sad to post Kara & Tyler’s wedding images because that means their wedding is really over. We have enjoyed them so very much over the last year and really felt connected to them. There are so so many beautiful images from their wedding, and though we’re posting quite a few, we’re excited to highlight one of our favorite parts of the day…their first portraits as husband and wife. Take a peek at some of the photos from Lydia and Lee’s engagement session. They braved a hot day, all our whims, and even a blister from walking so much. They had such a great presence and sense of confidence with each other in front of the camera, and Lydia certainly knows how to strike a pose. They are getting married in April 2010, and we are thrilled to be working with them. We didn’t meet Lee until the day of the session, but fell in love with Lydia and her mom during our consultation and knew he would be special. We can’t wait for Lydia’s bridal session, but I guess we’ll have to, at least until fall.
The moment has finally come to unveil Kara’s bridal portraits! Isn’t she absolutely stunning? Kara and Tyler were married on Saturday — just wait until you see this beautiful bride on her wedding day. We are working on those so there is much more to come!
Kara & Tyler’s Engagement Shots
We got the chance to hit up some fantastic spots downtown for Abby and John’s engagement session. They are such a fun, dynamic couple who really blossom in front of the camera. They were so playful with each other; it didn’t take us long to get them cuddled up. And doesn’t Abby have the most amazingly intense eyes? Gorgeous! You both just radiated love and warmth, and we are so looking forward to your September wedding.

We couldn’t help sharing in the excitement at Tori and Matt’s wedding. They are such a sweet couple and have such an undeniable love for each other. We were esctatic the way it came through in these images. We loved shooting downtown at First Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. It gave us the chance to capture some fun shots of our bride and groom with a really unique backdrop. And their reception at the Old Town Club was truly beautiful and elegant. Thanks Tori and Matt for letting us be a part of your special day!

Precious Baby E joined us in April, and we are thrilled to share this sneek peak from her session. Baby E was so peaceful and a delight to photograph. It is always a special priviledge be able to take maternity shots of the proud mom and then get to photograph the beautiful newborn just a few weeks later (you can see Faye’s maternity shots here). Congratulations on your sweet baby girl!
Baby L and his family have become very special to us, and we are proud to share these images of him and his gorgeous mom (scroll down to see some shots from her maternity session). We are debuting our new basket with beautiful Baby L, and this sweet boy fit perfectly inside. We featured the basket image on his baby announcement — simply adorable! Thank you for letting us share in this special time with you! We can’t wait to watch him grow.

Sarah and Byron’s wedding was a perfect mix of pure happiness and overflowing emotions. They were married at Reynolda Gardens on May 23, and the weather held out just long enough for their special day. We could almost feel the waves of bliss and sweet sentiment through the camera and were honored to capture each moment for this special couple. We wish you the best of luck in your new life together in Texas!
