Family – Winston Salem/Greensboro Family Photographer

Sandra has been asking for a while for a new family portrait, and we were finally able to squeeze it into our schedules. With a three year old and 18 month old, we knew we had to be quick, and I had to be VERY animated to keep their attention. We then set the scene for a surprise for Billy.  Kids on a blanket with their goodies for doing a good job, Sandra and Billy posed for a more traditional shot, and my heart pounding as I gave them direction for a more candid sequence. Wait for it. Wait for it…

You got it. We’re pregnant! I mean, they’re pregnant.  I am very excited to make the official announcement, so very happy for their family, and for our growing Fusion Family of 6 kiddos between us.

You know, this got us thinking. What life moment would you like captured? A proposal? Baby news of your own? I know this is a moment Billy will never forget, but in case he slips into denial, we’ve got proof positive:)

Leave some love for them, and cast a vote for a boy or girl. A winner with a correct guess will be randomly drawn and will receive a gift certificate for $100.

I love it so much! Brought tears to my eyes actually. I wish wish wish we could have done something like this when I announced our second pregnancy to my husband, what an amazing keepsake.
(He’s not supposed to have any so that we’ll have a three year old and a newborn is freakin’ amazing, and we both cried when I told him.)
I would actually love love love to have somebody capture those first few moments of daddyness when we have our new baby. I remember so clearly watching my husband fall in love with our little girl and it would be amazing to capture some of that. I’ll have my camera with me so I’ll see what I can do but I won’t exactly be crouching around for perfect angles… LOL
