We are posting this adorable maternity session just in the nick of time! Baby Natalie was delivered just yesterday…another early baby this year! In fact, not many of our newborns have actually made it to their due date this year. We don’t know what’s in the water, but we do know we’re recommending our maternity sessions be scheduled a bit earlier than usual and are asking potential clients to call at least by week 25 to ensure we have room on the calendar.
This session was a ton of fun. It started with a big laugh when we asked mom to place her hand on her belly and dad did the same. Such a good listener! We love the sweet connection and intimacy of maternity sessions. It’s such an important moment in a young couple’s life and to be able to document their last weeks before baby, whether it’s a first baby or a new member to a growing family, is simply priceless. What’s even better…getting to watch them become a family and photograph that sweet baby and their first portraits as a family. We are lucky gals!
